In response to a few ads that have been posted around regarding businesses for sale on Cortland Ave, there has been some seriously lively discussion on the Bernal Safe and Bernal Parents yahoo groups. (see www.sundius.com/brownbear click on the 701 and 801 cortland listings). As I am listing 2 of the 3 business/lease opportunities, and represented the buyer of the old Chez Maman/Aura business, and because I got a real kick out of the responses I figured that I would tip you all off to this discussion. I just figured that most of you did not run in the same circles as the Bernal Parents Group.

Have you any thoughts about the fact that 2 corner market businesses (Pay Little Market and Reliable Grocery) were listed for sale? Or what is going on with the vacant law office on the 700 block, or speculation about the new "Tinderbox Restaurant"?
