  I haven't tried the "new" restaurant but I do know that it is still owned by the owner of Don Balon. He's taken on a partner (the new chef) who reportedly worked for a restaurant in North Beach for the last 30 years. The restaurant owners retired so he was out of a job. I have forgotten the name of the establishment.
